Jazzy Elite HD Wheelchair in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida

Hello everyone. I have a Jazzy power chair by Pride I would like to sell. It was purchased 14 months ago and has been a great chair. I am asking half of what it cost new so I am offering a great bargain if you need a dependable chair capable of 450 pounds. Local pickup preferred or you can arrange shipping. Come by and try it yourself.

I have suffered several lengthy hospital stays and several other months that I wasn't able to use it due to ongoing health problems. In all it's only been used about 6 months. During that time I did have both a problem with the batteries not lasting as long as they should have and an issue with the motors. About 5 months ago both were replaced under warranty so it's in very good electrical and mechanical shape. There are no rips in either the seat or arms

This chair has pros and cons. The pros is it's very powerful even at low speed so turning in the house even on carpet is easy. It does have 5 distinct speed limiters to choose from so in wider spaces you can go a lot faster, cruising just under 5 mph. Or you can limit the speed when there's not as much space. It's very stable and handles surface variations smoothly due to the big tires in the middle.

There is only one con with this chair and that's its weight of 250 pounds. Because it is so heavy I can't lift it to put in a car trunk. You need a ramp or power lift to be able to transport it places. I didn't buy one as I was able to go to all the local grocery stores that were up to 4 miles from my home. However I was missing some family functions so I got a much lighter chair that folds and can be lifted into a trunk. I weighted 350 pounds and have went 10 miles on single charge easily
